I gave my phone to a stranger….

I got on the plane, and realized I did not have a window seat. The plane took off, and as it did I gave my phone to a stranger. I asked him to take photos high in the sky. I wanted to see what he saw. He snapped away, then handed me the phone and said, “I don’t think they are very good”! He had missed the Statue of Liberty, and this was his biggest disappointment.

But, what he didn’t know was I didn’t care. I wanted to see what intrigued him, what he saw!

I told him the photos were beautiful! I especially liked the “Angel corrals”.

“Angel corrals” he asked? I told him “they are tiny cloud formations where the Angels go to rest. Pockets of clouds, light and fluffy”.

He smiled at me. I was glad I gave my phone to a stranger. We both agreed, the Angels have beautiful resting places.

  1. See I’m sending an ANGEL before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you. Exodus 23:20 NLT

After 9-11-01

Fifteen years have passed since that terrible day, the day when everyone stood still – we stood in horror, with compassionate hearts and with a love for our country that has never stopped.

Gone but never forgotten

This day of reflecting has been a day of thankfulness. Thankful for our freedom, and thankful for this beautiful life.

I honor those who have fallen, I pray for the families that have lost, and I pray that God continues to wrap our world in a blanket of protection.
