powerful

I woke up this morning with a teeny-weenie, tiny bit of fear creeping into my head, and the thoughts tried to rock my world! It took some self-talk to push it out of the way. I pushed so hard it went way out of here.

I seem to have developed this fear of getting older since my birthday last month. I have developed a slight fear of having missed it all! That sooner or later, much sooner than later I may have missed the ultimate calling in my life! But, God is not on the same time clock as us, so who am I to judge when my calling is up? When does God decide when we are too old for anything? Quite frankly I think up until our last breath, He will use us if we allow.
Yup, Satan was trying to have a field day with me today, and I cannot allow Satan to try and have a season opener in my mind. Satan is starting early to get his players ready for Spring opening, but not in my world! So I told Satan to “Back off”, and I began to get in the Word. The powerful word of God. Powerful indeed, because when I opened the bible this verse jumped out at me like a Barracuda in the deepest of seas

Yes, even when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not, [but keep me alive] until I have declared Your mighty strength to [this] generation, and Your might and power to all that are to come. Psalm 71:18 AMP

The bible is so powerful, and when we rely on it as a daily source to guide us through our life struggles, amazing things can happen! Amazing God moments happen. God’s powerful amazing words ring out so clear!
We as Christians have an opportunity and a responsibility to bring the word of God to our Youth and younger generations. To remain faithful to Christ, and sharing his word with younger generations is what will take His name into our future, long after we are gone! What a legacy to leave behind!

It’s not always easy to remain timeless as we once felt in our youth, but age is just a number! I am not sitting around letting people pass me by that need to hear about Jesus! I’m shouting it! There are so many people that have not had the opportunity to hear the word of God. I believe as I age into my future, the best is yet to come, and frankly God wouldn’t want it any other way!
