Winter is a time of rest – where the air can take your breath away, like the first time you feel Jesus come into your heart. He’s so warm and delightful, you forget the cold chill of the day as the temperature meter looses it’s effect, and your Joy meter runs on high warming your heart. Although, the coldness of the day seems long and never ending, just looking up allows oneself to become Sondrenched and this cold, dark world of winter, suddenly and undoubtedly comes alive with wonder. God paints our world anew with the beauty of His sunsets that leave you in awe, as the winter snow paints the world a winter landscape. Days turn into night and soon Spring breaks through, as the first seedling bursts through the last winter snow. Winter is a time of rest, for God is busy making us all brand new, awaiting the first sign of Spring, our time for hope and renewal.
