Evening Serenade

On my porch in the serenity of the evening darkness, the world is alive with the chatter of crickets calling in unison to the world requesting sleep for one and all. Tree frogs singing and Gods small creatures are calling out to Him one by one, singing there love song in harmony. This evening is an enchanting reminder of Gods love for us. Off in the distance the hoot owl is calling loud and clear, “Jesus come”, “our Jesus come”. Even the hoot owl knows what the world needs, rockabys and the gentle wonder of His love in the sounds of His tiny creatures, who never stop serenading Him all night long. The earth is calling to Him, and His gentle whispers echo through the trees, “Be still and know I am”, “Be still and know I am your God”, and this gentle reminder calms the earth as Jesus draws nearer, on this enchanting evening only He can orchestrate. Rest well and know your God is with You, and all is well with our souls.
