Do you remember why you started loving God? Whether it be your parents taking you to church, or someone instilling who you are in Christ; the love our Father Jesus Christ has for you, is always in you! Do you feel the same love, the same bond that you did when you first identified who Jesus was?

For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in your faithfulness Psalm 26:3

How do you describe Jesus? How do you tell people who He is, and how He loves you and them? How do you describe how Jesus has changed your life? Is Jesus in your life daily, or is He someone that only comes to mind on a Sunday when you are reading the paper at home, or sitting in a pew in church? Do you find yourself reading the bible daily, drinking in the love He shows us through scripture? How do you identify with Jesus and who He is in your life? Has Jesus changed your life at all, or is He still waiting for you to seek Him?

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 ESV

How do you pray? Do you set aside a specific amount of time each day to have a conversation with God? If you spend time in prayer daily, whether it is walking in the woods and hearing his voice in the trees, in the birds, the sun or the moon, you will see your relationship with God change almost immediately. He yearns for our companionship and draws us nearer by seeking us out for conversation. There are some that say “they do not hear” God’s voice, yet, when prayer is used in a daily relationship of getting to know God, your prayers will be answered. God hears, he listens and he grants favor to those as they learn to live on a more God like path.

Do you gently thank him for all you have and all you are, and then go about your day? Or, do you simply send “instant messages” to God throughout your day when all is well or all is wrong? It is hard to embrace the reality of sitting still or being in the moment allowing God’s grace to fall on us simply because we are his children of divinity. If we  allow God’s grace and peace to wash over us daily, peace is obtainable through His word.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2 AMP

You are his finest possession, his ultimate child of divinity and he awaits to hear his name whispered from your lips. Lift up your worries, your challenges and your love and he will come to you, walk with you and carry you through your day. Your challenges will become insignificant on your journey as you hand everything over to God and he will lift you up.

Then shall your light break for like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily. Isaiah 58:8 AMP
